Lapclose
Also
known as "Lapseal" or "Lapstop", SGT Lapclose is
a product specifically designed to weatherproof and seal all areas of over-lap
on a sheeting installation.
Essentially a foam strip with a peal off adhesive, the Lapclose creates
a sealing barrier between roof sheets that overlap each other at their side
or end laps. This is especially useful when different roof sheet materials
are used together (different profiles, matching polycarbonate with galvanized
sheeting, matching different thickness sheeting...etc), where there is not
a "tight-fit" and small gaps occur. The Lapclose will seal these
areas allowing the installation to be "weather-proof".
Available in Grey, Black and White, in a variety of widths, thicknesses
and material types for your application.
Variability of product allows it to be applied in weatherproofing and closing
other types of construction gaps both uniform and irregular. |

Roof Closures
Known by varying industry names such as "Polyclosures", "Polybuttons"' or "Eaves closures", SGT's Roof Closures are the recommended and proven solution for weather proofing roof sheeting installations against wind, rain, dust, birds, insects etc.
The Roof Closure is die cut to fit exactly into the profile of the roof sheet, sealing in-between the roof sheet and the purlins/sidewall flashing/waterproofing etc. The roof closures are an important product in ensuring the internal area (under the roof sheeting) is kept clean and hygienic.
The profiles are die-cut from different densities (30/60kg/m3) of closed cell foam that is UV resistant, extremely strong, waterproof, dustproof and long-lasting. The following profiles are readily available: view profiles |

Roof Sheet Spacers
SGT's roof sheet Spacers are proven to improve the quality, strength and longevity of a roof sheeting installation. The spacers are die cut to fit snugly into the sheet "crown" profile and provide strength and support between the roof purlin and the sheeting "crown".
This allows for a greater load to be placed on the sheeting and helps in eliminating sheet noise (wind "rattle") whilst preventing over tightening and greatly protecting against sheet damage (on installation, subsequent roof work etc). The spacers are manufactured from a 'heavy' density (120kg/m3) closed cell material that is UV resistant, dust and waterproof and extremely strong and durable.
Available in IBR, Corrugated, Big 6 and Grecca profiles, and in white, grey, green, brown and blue. Kindly note: Any profile, density and colour is available on your request. |
